Copper Bonded Steel Tape UL and IEC Listed

Copper bonded steel grounding tape coil is a bimetallic composite material composed of an internal steel core and an external copper layer. It not only has high mechanical properties of steel, but also has good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper. In terms of product form, we use a single individual package with a length of 100 meters, which contains all the physical properties of the copper bonded steel earth rod and the length advantage of the copper bonded steel strand. We have two types of structures——round wire and tape, to meet the needs of different places in the project.

Meet the requirements of grounding resistance and potential difference in the grounding system when used in large-scale grounding grid.

Reduce direct material cost of the connection joint by 90% and labor cost (eg: The grounding material is laid in a grounding groove with a length of 100 meters, if a single 100-meter copper clad steel tape is used, only one connection joint is required, while using a copper bonded steel rod with a length of 6 meters, 16 joints(not including both ends) should be required)

3. Plasticity of copper layer: When the product is bent at 90° for three times continuously, there's no crack in the inner and outer edge copper layer.

4. Copper layer bondability

When the product is placed between the clamp or the vise jaws, the spacing is smaller than the diameter of the sample steel core(W=d-0.1), hammer the end of the sample, cut off enough copper layer, fully expose the steel core, the exfoliated copper layer is allowed at the jaws of vise, however, the remaining part of rod, exfoliated copper and steel is not allowed to be visible to the naked eye.

5. Electrical-corrosion performance

Simulated fault current releasing, after the electrical-corrosion cycle test, the final resistance value growth rate does not exceed 50% of the initial resistance value, Morever, the resistance growth rate of each test step does not exceed 15% during the testing process, And the surface of the copper bonded steel sample is completed, without cracks, pits, bubbling defects after the test.
